Although painting has been her constant passion, she has also worked in interior and theatre design, created innovative Christmas decorations, designed leaded glass windows and gardens, painted and designed kites and clothes, illustrations for books and book covers also commissions to make a series of paintings of ancient monuments for the then Department of the Environment Historic Monuments division in Northern Ireland.
She is also delighted to have recently had one of her sketches of gymnasts chosen to be the logo for the new City of Lisburn National Gymnastics Centre. s.
Currently she is working chiefly in oils.

Biography
Born in Belfast and currently resident there, Lisa Catherwood was educated in Lisburn and has travelled and painted in Scotland, Australia and France, as well as throughout the islands of Ireland (sea shores and sea life have long been a fascination). In 2006 she had a residency at Cill Rialaig, the artists retreat in County Kerry.
In 1980 she had glandular fever and was susequently diagnosed with ME/CFS. From which she still suffers.
